The Ohrid wine region is located at an altitude of 695 meters, which makes it the perfect blend of a Mediterranean climate during the day and a modified continental climate at night. The cool summer nights contribute to maintaining the freshness and overall acidity of the wine, while the long, warm days contribute to the ripening of the grapes and the formation of their aromatics.
